How Jacob lost 42 pounds and Got Ripped in just 5 months! — Lee Hayward’s Total Fitness Bodybuilding


There’s nothing I love more than to see success stories from my online coaching students.

When I get to see the dramatic improvements in progress pictures and hear about the positive impact that following a healthy bodybuilding and fitness lifestyle provides, it re-assures me that all time and energy I put into making videos, blog posts, writing programs and answering questions is actually making a difference in people’s lives.

Today I have a very impressive physique transformation that I’d like to share with you. It’s about 39 year old Jacob Fereydoonfar, who lost 42 pounds of body fat in the last 5 months, while building lean muscle and getting stronger in the process!

Jacob’s story really hit home for me, because like myself, he was a former competitive bodybuilder in his teens and early 20’s. But he had to move away to another country for work, and he stopped competing in bodybuilding to focus on his career.

The transition to a new country, new career, and new life wasn’t easy and came with plenty of challenges. The stress of work, personal problems, and trying to make a living started to add up and Jacob’s dedication to living a healthy active lifestyle got pushed to the sidelines.

It didn’t take long for things to spiral out of control… Jacob’s once lean ripped physique got soft, fat, and out of shape to the point where his gut was sticking out further than his chest.

He was ashamed by how fat he let himself get, he felt embarrassed to take his shirt off at the beach, pool, etc. and would avoid going to such places. This negatively affected his self esteem and confidence. He hated the way his body looked and wanted to make a change.

Jacob told me that he stumbled upon my YouTube channel while searching for bodybuilding and fitness videos and looking for some motivation to workout again. He liked my opinions on fitness and nutrition. He found it refreshing how I focused more about making bodybuilding and fitness apart of a well balanced lifestyle, instead of taking the extreme “All Or Nothing” approach. He related to my message and subscribed.

Like Jacob, I was a former competitive bodybuilder, who used to be in great shape “Back In The Day” but stopped competing and let myself go after the birth of my son. Then over the past 2 years I’ve totally turned my life around and came up with a realistic and sustainable approach to losing fat and building muscle after 40 that doesn’t require extreme workouts or crazy low calorie starvation diet plans.

Because of this, Jacob reached out to me asking for help and we’ve been working together to help him optimize his workouts, cardio, and eating plan so he can lose the fat without resorting to crazy low carb / low calorie diets or spending endless hours in the gym – and the results speak for themselves…

He is no longer embarrassed about taking his shirt off at the beach or pool. He now has the lean athletic build that allows him to stand tall and feel confident about how his body looks.

In just 5 months Jacob went from 231 pounds and feeling fat, depressed, and embarrassed about his body… To now weighing 189 pounds and feeling confident, looking lean, healthy, and ripped as he goes into his 40’s. He’s a better man all around because he choose to make his health and fitness a priority.

I’m so proud of him for what he has achieved. He’s an inspiration and real world example that it’s never too late to take action and get back in shape!
